Here at The Games People, Inc. we offer three levels of service for Vintage Pinball Machines as described below. All Pinball Machines sold by us will include, at a minimum, a LEVEL 1 service. Please reference ‘Service’ note on individual Pinball Machine descriptions for level of service completed on a particular Pinball Machine. You may upgrade the level of service on any Pinball Machine. All pinball machines sold by us come with a Pinball Machine care and maintenance kit, FREE! 

 
    
 

LEVEL 1

  1.  Outside of cabinet and back box are thoroughly cleaned (including: legs, coin-door, shooter & side rails).
  2.  New locks are installed on both back box door and coin door.
  3. Pins on Back box plugs (that connects back box to main cabinet) are cleaned using fine grit emory cloth.
  4. Inside of cabinet is carefully vacuumed out.
  5. For safety reasons, a brand-new, 8 foot, 3-prong power cord is installed in the machine and the metal coln door is properly grounded, (this is above and beyond what the manufacturer’s did back in the 60’s & 70’s).
  6. All fuses, light bulbs, relays, coils and internal mechanical devices are checked and faulty parts are replaced as necessary.
  7. Lower playfield apron and ball return mechanism are removed as well as all top of playfield components.  Playfield is completely stripped, (except pop bumpers).
  8. 5 coats of high quality wax are applied.
  9. All score reels and credit reel are thoroughly cleaned.
  10. Back glass and playfield glass are cleaned.
  11. Playfield ‘plastics’ and all playfield components are cleaned and polished
  12. Playfield is reassembled and brand-new rubber rings, shooter tip, rebound rubber and flipper rubbers are installed.
  13. Pinball Machine is thoroughly tested and run through all functions, then played multiple times to work out any ‘bugs’. No warranty is included with Level 1 service.
 
    
 

LEVEL 2 (Includes Level 1 service plus:)

  1. All coil sleeves are replaced.
  2. Every stepper unit and score reels are completely disassembled and each component is cleaned individually. Springs are also replaced as needed.
  3. All switch stacks are tightened, all switches cleaned and adjusted as necessary.
  4. The bottom board is removed and we perform our proprietary cleaning process to remove all hidden dirt and grime for optimum operation!
  5. All playfield metal parts are tumbled, polished and replaced.
  6. New mylar rings are installed under pop bumpers.
  7. Level 2 includes 60-Day Warranty
 
    
 

LEVEL 3 (Includes Level 1 and Level 2 service plus:)

  1. The cabinet side rails are removed polished and replaced.
  2. The cabinet and back box are repainted using the original factory design and color scheme.
  3. The bottom board (inside cabinet) is removed, stripped and given a coat of clear laquer and meticulously reassembled.
  4. All of the labels are reproduced, laminated and installed inside the cabinet.
  5. Playfield and back glass paint is touched-up as necessary by professional pinball artist.
  6. Playfield plastics are reproduced to original factory spec., (if necessary).
  7. All playfield posts are replaced with brand-new units.
