| | Here is a Fun, vacation-themed Williams single player pinball machine called ‘Gulfstream’. The year is 1973 and this is an ‘EM’ (Electro-Mechanical) pinball machine. This specific machine featured:
• 11 ‘Rollovers’ • 3 ‘Pop Bumpers’ • 2 ‘Kick Out Holes’ • 3 ‘Stationary Targets’
‘Gulfstream’ also includes the, ever popular ‘SPECIAL WHEN LIT’ feature that yields a replay and the ‘THWACK’ sound so sought after by young teens of the ‘70’s!
The strategy of this game is to ‘influence’ the ball to roll over the S-P-E-C-I-A-L rollover lanes to light the numbered spots in the center-playfield square. Once lit you, can score up to two SPECIALS! Another unique feature of the machine is the ‘inlane’ ‘SPECIAL WHEN LIT’ feature, which allows you to score multiple ‘SPECIALS’ on a single ball. This way you may score ‘SPECIAL’ as many times as you can until you drain the ball!
‘Gulfstream’ is a very fun, fast game! I just finished playing it, again! It plays really fast and has that classic feel and SOUND! Check out the unique ‘Norm Clark’ artwork on this one. This machine represents good fun while on vacation!
This model is in near perfect condition as evidenced in the below photos. The theme is ‘family friendly’ and would make the perfect gift for the pinball fan in your life!
I have owned and restored many ‘EM’ pinballs, and this is one of the nicest I have ever come across.
The machine plays great and all features work properly. The thumper-bumpers are real strong and alternate which is lit for ‘1,000’ points as the ball hits the ’10 point’ rebounds.
The playfield is beautiful. This machine includes our LEVEL 3 SERVICE and has been COMPLETELY REFURBISHED from the ground-up.
All of the playfield plastics are pristine with no cracks or fading. The back glass is in great shape with no areas of lifting or flaking paint. The back box metal door is included, (a component frequently missing on older machines). Also included are a new set of keys and locks for the coin door and back box door and the original manual, score & instruction cards and schematic diagram. There is no doubt this machine was owned by an operator who took care of his/her machines. The cabinet is in excellent shape, all corner joints are very tight, and the paint is like new (see photos). The legs are in fine shape.
Don’t miss this opportunity to own a vintage pinball machine that is in excellent ORIGINAL condition! | |
